Lina and Leo

So, I had been speaking with another photographer, Dennis Larkin (http://www.dennislarkin.com/) since March, and finally met up with him to do some engagement sessions in Oakville. This was a cute little park called Gairloch Gardens on the edge of Oakville/Mississauga, which is apparently popular for wedding pictures. The garden was in full bloom....and had so many different places to shoot!



Lina and Leo were a European couple, getting married this summer. They were very classy and easy to work with......not to mention extremely photogenic!


The park was right on the lake, so I really enjoyed this shot of them from behind, looking out into the water....

We attended the wedding of the son of my mother's best friend. Me and Phil had essentially grown up together, and we have photos of us when we were born, up until we became teenagers and stopped being dragged around with the parents when they visit with friends. Phil and Jesse had apparently been dating for 9 years! And his mother had said her only thought when she met her for the first time was "My son has just met the perfect girl for him, only I fear he is too young and is going to screw it all up!!!" Suffice to say, it was meant to be right from the start, and I was honored to witness their special day. I was not the photographer for their wedding, so these shots were just ones I snapped as a guest.

The Venue was "The Manor", at Aurora side road and Weston. It was a beautiful up-scale golf course, with waterfall, pond, and gazebo. Their wedding took place outdoors, and it was a perfect day....not too warm, but nothing but sun! :)
